Venice
Historically, Venice dates back to the Roman era. The Island of Venice was inhabited by fishermen. After the Barbarian invasions, the Lagoon became a refuge for people from the North of Europe.
As time passed, Venice using its surrounding waters became an important city of trade. Thanks to the mercantile trade, the beauty of the city began to develop; with its naval strength it became a cultural centre of the Mediterranean Sea too.
Many artists and architects came to Venice to show and propose their competencies, which you can admire throughout the city. In fact, by simply changing and walking into a street or 'calle', you can find yourselves in front of famous palaces, different architectural styles and times, with enchanting panoramic views.
The romantic atmosphere of the Lagoon will soon make you forget all of your worries and will give you a peaceful feeling you cannot find in any other city you’ll see. With its scents and its colours Venice will fascinate and amaze
you in every single moment of your stay.
