Pensione Guerrato is located in a marvelous position,
just in front of the Grand Canal and exactly in the centre of the Rialto
fish and vegetable markets.
From some windows it is possible enjoy a beautiful glimpse of the Grand
Canal with, at the bottom, Ca' D'Oro palace.
The interior of Pensione Guerrato is elegantly furnished with antique furniture and there is plenty of atmosphere remaining from the medieval Osteria Della Scimmia, or Inn of the Ape. Some of the rooms still contain original stuccoworks, which are possibly frescos from the days of the old inn. Being guests of Pensione Guerrato means being part of the magnificence of Venice past!
Pensione Guerrato is located in the heart of the city, next to the Rialto marketplace, where every morning crowds of Venetians shop for fresh fruit, vegetables and fish. Guests can experience the bustle of the market, one of the social hearts of the city, a place where friends and relatives meet and mingle. But there is no sacrifice of tranquility, as guests can rest without being annoyed by noises other than the ones of the nearby Grand Canal and of the peaceful lapping of water against the foundations of the nearby palaces.
The comfort of our rooms is appreciated by our guests, who often, and with great pleasure, return to Pensione Guerrato. We want our guests to feel as if they are at home, and take great care to welcome visitors as old friends.
Pensione Guerrato wishes you to have the best experience
during your stay in Venice; all our personnel will be at your disposal
at any time to guarantee your comfort and enjoyment. We will be happy
to suggest places to visit,
including sites that are off the normal tourist track, along with some
excursions to the many islands of the lagoon. We also will gladly recommend
restaurants or "osteria" that offer traditional Venetian cuisine,
featuring, but not limited to, fresh seafood.
We are also pleased to serve you breakfast, included in the price of the room.
Pensione Guerrato has 14 rooms, all double (with or without
bath inside), very large and spacious, so if you desire we will be able
to add one or two beds, having always the same comfort.
